We are thrilled to introduce our Apprentice, Lucy Brown. Lucy has spent the last few months working alongside the Marketing department and is well on her way to becoming a qualified Marketing professional.
Lucy came to Shortlist with a passion for Marketing, and a desire to learn and grow in this industry, having studied the field during her time in education. She has already shown a great eagerness to take on new challenges and contribute to our team.
As an apprentice, Lucy will have the opportunity to work alongside experienced professionals, gaining valuable hands-on experience and learning from their expertise. Over the past few months, Lucy has gained valuable skills from both a practical and educational setting, which she has added to our team.
When asked about her time as an apprentice at Shortlist, Lucy believes she made the right decision for her career; “After realising University wasn’t the right path for me, I was stuck on what to do. My love for marketing and being creative encouraged me to peruse an apprenticeship, with Shortlist keen to take me on board.
“In just a few months I think I’ve learned an incredible amount, especially in the hands-on nature at Shortlist. Phil and Francis have been excellent with my development and have really helped me understand the industry.
“I’ve already spent time working alongside clients and attending events. Something I wouldn’t have been able to do at University. It’s given me such valuable experience at a young age.”
Focusing heavily on social media and content creation, Lucy is a digital marketing wizz; and has allowed us to bring a lot of services in-house rather than outsourcing.
